How PathPatron Uses AI

PathPatron’s editorial and transparency standard

Our editorial responsibility

PathPatron content is created in collaboration between Christin Jentzsch and AI tools. Christin sets the editorial direction, selects the questions worth pursuing, reviews and revises published work, and retains final responsibility for it.

Where AI may help

AI tools may support research organisation, idea development, structure, drafting, editing, visual development and production workflows. They do not replace editorial judgment, accountable authorship or the need to distinguish evidence from inference.

How we make this visible

Articles carry an AI-transparency notice. AI-assisted PathPatron illustrations are labelled with a concise caption. We use “AI tools” rather than a fixed product list because the tools may change; the editorial responsibility does not.

Review, evidence and corrections

We aim to review material claims before publication, identify uncertainty where it matters and correct substantive errors when they are found. AI-generated suggestions are treated as drafts or hypotheses until they are checked against appropriate sources and human expertise.

Questions or corrections

If you have a question about a specific article, visual or source, please contact PathPatron through the site’s contact channel. We welcome correction requests and will assess them promptly.
